Research question
How do carbon additives and solid-electrolyte chemistry affect the performance of DRX cathodes in solid-state batteries?
Key result
High carbon content promoted side reactions with the sulfide electrolyte and degraded cycling. The halide electrolyte tolerated the carbon-rich cathode composite better because of its higher oxidation stability.
Research contribution
Dong-Hwa Seo planned and supervised the study. You-Yeob Song contributed to synthesis and experiments, and Yoon-Seong Kim performed advanced analysis and interpretation, with other group members supporting the experimental work.
